There was an upset when 4th placed AustrianSt.Poelten (2-2) was crushed on the road by 61th ranked Turkish Istanbul (1-3) 61-38 on Saturday. Istanbul dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to St.Poelten 's 24. Istanbul forced 22 St.Poelten turnovers. Mert Celik fired 14 points for the winners. Onur Aydin chipped in 11 points. Konstantin Seher produced 10 points and Ferdinand Pichovszky added 7 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Istanbul left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with 9 other teams. St.Poelten at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with 11 other teams.
